CONTRACTUAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Reservation Fee: The $100 deposit is due upon booking and is non-refundable. The deposit secures your session date and the time to fulfill the booking of your session. An invoice will be emailed via PayPal (you do not need to have a PayPal account to complete this transaction). If the reservation fee is not received within seven (7) days, the session date will be released. You do NOT need a PayPal account to complete this transaction; any debit/credit card can be used. 
• Full Sessions: The full session fee includes: a phone consultation (in-person consultations may be added on for a $40 fee), location scouting, photo shoot schedule preparation, time and talent on the day of the photo shoot, culling and image prep for the final proof gallery, and the in-person ordering session. There is a $595 minimum order requirement on all full sessions; which does not include the Session fee. Session fees do not include any digital images or products.
• Mini Sessions: Mini sessions are all-inclusive of time and selected digital images. The cost includes a location selected by Brittney Kluse, time and talent on the day of the photo shoot, culling  and creation of an image proof gallery, and artistic edits on the final selected images chosen by the client.
• Collection and A La Carte Pricing: There is a $595 minimum order requirement due on the day of the ordering session. Prices are subject to change at any time; however the prices in effect at the time your paid session was booked will remain as such for your scheduled shoot. 
• Order Shipping/Delivery: All final orders include client pick-up from Brittney’s in-home studio in Richland, WA. 
• Photo Integrity: Any image that may contain closed eyes, motion blur, or does not meet the standards of Brittney Kluse will not be available for viewing or purchase.
• Printing Release: The printing release grants you permission to print your selected photos. You are free to print and send these photos for any lawful purpose; however, you are prohibited from altering the image in any form (Photoshop, other editing programs, etc.) or reselling the images in any form.
• Rescheduling & Cancellations: Sessions are subject to rescheduling due to illness or weather complications without financial penalty. Re-shoots are at the discretion of Brittney Kluse. Re- shoots are not given for regretful personal choices; such as: hair style/color or clothing choice.


PHOTO POLICIES

• Final proof photos are ready for viewing, via an online gallery and e-mailed within 30 (30) days from the day of the photo shoot.
• Any image that does not meet the quality standards of Brittney Kluse Photography will not be shown or available for purchase.
• Re-posting of the preview gallery after expiration is subject to a $25 fee.
• Un-ordered photos are retained by Brittney Kluse Photography for thirty (30) days from the day of the ordering session.


PRICING POLICIES

• All sales are final and subject to WA state sales tax (8.6%).
• Cash, cashiers check, and credit/debit and PayPal are happily accepted; all electronic payments are subject to a 3% transaction fee. Personal checks are not accepted.
• A $250 cancellation fee ($500 for weddings) will be incurred for any session cancelled, and not rescheduled, by the client once a contract has been signed. A $50 no-show fee will be incurred for any missed consultations, ordering sessions, and other scheduled meetings, without 24-hours prior notice.
• There is a minimum order requirement of $595 for all full (Luxe & Elite) sessions - not including session fees or WA State sales tax.
• Ordering sessions must be held within 30 (30) days of the photo shoot to avoid a 20% late fee charge on the order total.
• The client’s order and full payment are due in full at the ordering session. If full payment is not available at the ordering session, the order total is subject to a 20% late fee.
• Prices are subject to change without notice.


RETOUCHING & EDITING POLICIES

• Brittney Kluse has developed well-known and sought after editing/retouching style and technique for her imagery. Please be sure to review the Brittney Kluse Photography website and to ensure  this style meets your needs before booking a session.
• In the proof gallery of images, the photos will have PROOF EDITS applied. This means the images will have adjustments to contrast, highlights, toning, white-balance, and other like-elements. A proof-gallery provides you the chance to see several different poses/combinations/smiles/expressions/emotion/etc and then select your favorites for purchase and artistic edits/re-touching.
• All purchased digital images will have ARTISTIC EDITS applied using Brittney Kluse’s signature color/B&W technique as shown on the imagery on the Brittney Kluse website. Artistic retouching includes: image cropping and artistic composition, removal of distracting objects, minor blemish removal, color and tonal enhancement, light layers, among other digital artistic enhancements.
• EXTENSIVE RETOUCHING is available on a per-image basis for an additional charge beginning at $35/image. This includes extensive blemish removal/skin retouching, tattoo removal, skin smoothing and color evening, stray hair removal, hair-root touchups, removal of logos from clothing, removal of stains on clothing, teeth whitening/food removal from teeth, contouring and body- slimming applications, among others.
• All freckles, moles, dimples, scars, tattoos, etc will remain on final images unless otherwise instructed by the client.


COPYRIGHT POLICY

All images are the sole property of Brittney Kluse Photography and are protected by Federal Copyright laws. Images may NOT be reproduced (which includes copy, scan, download, print, e-mail) without the expressed written permission of Brittney Kluse Photography. Brittney Kluse Photography retains the right to all images for promotional or competitive use. Copying images without permission is punishable by up to a $150,000 fine.


MODEL POLICY

I hereby grant Brittney Kluse Photography and their legal representatives and assigns, the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs of myself, family, and/or child/ren, or photographs in which myself, family, and/or child/ren will be included for editorial, trade, advertising, and any other purpose and in any other manner of good taste. I hereby release Brittney Kluse Photography and their legal representatives and assigns from all claims and liability relating to said photographs. I commission Brittney Kluse Photography (Brittney Kluse), to photograph myself and/or my underage children. In the case that the subject/s is a minor/s, I confirm that I am the parent/legal guardian of the child/ren in this session.
